Dean’s experience in the grain industry has spanned over 16 years. Graduating with an engineering degree, Dean initially entered the grain industry by designing and constructing large inland concrete grain elevators, but quickly moved into elevator operations management, including large bulk terminal operations. In addition to his day-to-day duties, Columbia plans to use Dean’s expertise in engineering and operations to oversee the approved plant rebuild currently underway.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Cory co-founded Cwest Solutions Inc in 2012, and has over 20 years of experience in Agricultural Freight Forwarding & Transloading. Since Cwest’s move to Columbia’s transload facility in the port of Vancouver in 2015, she continues to be the driving force behind Cwest and is also responsible for Sales and Customer service for Columbia Containers with the primary objective of creating customer service excellence & efficiencies within the combined companies.
Director of Transportation
Brian has over 30 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation with 15 of those years in a Senior Management role. He has worked extensively within the Vancouver Port Community in focus groups, advisory committees and project groups to promote the growth and stability of the Supply chain in Vancouver. Brian has implemented unique strategies and operational process changes in continuing efforts to adapt in the ever changing Supply Chain sector. He finds great value in developing and mentoring the new generation of Logistics professionals.
As Plant Manager , Cory’s responsibilities include direction of all the outside staff, plant maintenance, equipment R+M and daily operations of the facility. Cory has been with the Company since 2007 has seen many changes and growth over the years.
Anna has more than 15 years’ experience in the HR field. Her wide range of expertise includes recruiting, strategic planning, team development and employee engagement. Her people development skills have enhanced through her senior level positions in different sectors including construction, hospitality and most recently as the HR Director for Ophthalmological Clinics in Russia. Anna holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Psychology and has completed a in Human Resources Management certification program from SFU.
